All loose money in the collection plate will be split 50/50 and donated to our monthly recipient.

Our recipient for the month of February is the National Hookup of Black Women, Inc – Joliet Chapter.

NHBW, Inc is a non-profit 501(c)3 charitable community service organization
dedicated to improving the lives of women and their families through support of
the arts, culture, education, health and wellness, and human service program.
They provide FREE health and wellness screenings and seminars for the
community with the collaboration of local hospitals and physicians , FREE
leadership and life skill programs for boys and girls, ages 8 – 18, FREE
empowerment seminars for parents in the community, FREE books to the
community through the Reading for Life program, FREE leadership training and
opportunities for our membership, welcome partnerships that will benefit the
community, champion initiatives improving the quality of life for the family, food
pantry and community garden.
