Mindful Meditation – This series will teach mindfulness through meditation to help you get in touch with your body.

Join us as we practice sitting and walking meditation, deep listening and loving speech, and cultivate a community of equanimity, compassion, joy and present-moment awareness!

According to Plumvillage.org, “Mindfulness is a kind of energy that we generate when we bring our mind back to our body and get in touch with what is going on in the present moment, within us and around us.  We can be mindful while standing, walking, or lying down; while speaking, listening, working, playing and cooking.”

There is a mindfulness teaching and discussion during our weekly meetings. Participants are invited to bring their own mat and/or mediation cushion if desired.,
